For instance, the British Sign Language (BSL) is different from ASL. American Sign Language (ASL) is an intricate language that uses signs made by hand gestures, and involves facial expressions and movements of the body to convey meaning. It is one of the main communication modes used for people who are deaf or hard-of-hearing. In the U.S., April 15 is marked as a day of observance for ASL because the first deaf school was opened on that day in the year 1817.

The company was founded on April 4, 1975 by Bill Gates and Paul Allen. It conquered the personal computing operating system period around mid-1980 starting with MS DOS followed by Microsoft Windows. A few days ago, we received an interpreting request from Microsoft for an ASL interpreter at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago for a 2 hour technical conference. We did a great job for them and Microsoft was very happy with our services.
Handicap International is a non-governmental organization who is committed to helping individuals with disabilities and vulnerable populations. ‘This organization creates programs in the health, rehabilitation and economic arena. They work with local organizations when there are natural and political tragedies and help survivors to get through these massive changes. Just recently we helped to set up a meeting for Handicap International. They needed an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter in the afternoon for a meeting about promoting equity for women and girls with disabilities. The meeting was a success and Handicap International was very pleased with our excellent interpreting services.
American Council on Education is a very prominent higher education association. They consistently work with presidents from public and private colleges to provide quality education for future generations. They are located in Washington D.C., and are involved in a lot of educational events. A week ago we provided American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters for their 97th Annual meeting. It was a 3 day event and no equipment was involved. The American Council was very pleased with our services and we did a great job for them.
