November Highlights – Giving Thanks Through Language

At AML-Global, we believe that language is more than a tool—it’s a bridge. And during a month that celebrates gratitude and connection, we’re proud to highlight how our interpreting and translation services helped organizations reach broader communities, serve diverse audiences, and create space for every voice to be heard. From public institutions to high-energy conferences, medical clients to legal teams, November was filled with impactful work across more than 20 languages. Here’s a look at how we supported communication across key sectors this month.

Government & Public Services

Public-facing institutions and community groups rely on accurate communication to build trust and engagement. In November, we worked with a statewide youth commission to provide 31 hours of Spanish interpreting, enabling young leaders and advocates to participate fully in civic discussions.

We also supported a congressional campaign event by delivering Korean interpreting services along with equipment, ensuring outreach materials and discussions were accessible to Korean-speaking constituents. A district-level law enforcement office requested 22 hours of Mandarin interpreting to support multilingual interviews and public services. Each of these projects reflects our commitment to civic inclusion—one voice at a time.

Healthcare & Medical Access

Accurate communication in healthcare settings is non-negotiable—it affects understanding, consent, and the overall well-being of patients. In November, AML-Global partnered with a major university health system to translate over 198,000 words across ten languages—including Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Farsi, Armenian, and Somali—making complex health materials more accessible for a wide spectrum of patients. Another prominent research institution engaged us to deliver 28,331 words of multilingual translations across Portuguese, Japanese, Khmer, Hmong, Urdu, and more.

We also completed 24,466 words of Spanish, Russian, and Mandarin translations for a California-based university hospital system, reinforcing their commitment to inclusive patient communication. These materials supported a wide range of medical needs—from treatment information and patient rights to public health outreach.

In addition, a large-scale pharmaceutical client required 38,300 words translated into Hungarian, along with 29 separate translation projects in Vietnamese, Laotian, Danish, Italian, Norwegian, Dutch, Swedish, Creole, Slovenian, German, and Spanish. These projects included clinical documentation, research protocols, and compliance materials.

Finally, we supported several healthcare nonprofits and medical outreach teams with on-site and virtual interpreting: one organization requested 48 hours of interpreting, while another required 41 hours of Spanish interpreting to serve their multilingual client base.

Education & School Support

As schools wrapped up fall terms, AML-Global continued to support districts with interpreting services designed to keep students, teachers, and families connected. We provided 57 hours of in-person and virtual interpreting for a diverse school district in Arabic, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Swahili, facilitating parent meetings, IEPs, and administrative planning.

Another California-based district turned to us for 27 hours of both Spanish and ASL interpreting, ensuring full participation across classroom activities and family interactions. These assignments underscore the critical role language access plays in fostering equity within education.

Legal & Compliance Communication

In the legal sector, clear communication isn’t optional—it’s essential. AML-Global translated over 51,600 words into Spanish for a national legal administrator managing class-action notifications and case documentation. We also completed an additional 25,600 words for another legal firm, along with 10,013 words for a separate investigation services group—all translated between English and Spanish.

These translations were used for legal notices, depositions, and client-facing documents—ensuring equal access to justice regardless of language. In addition, we provided 40 hours of Spanish and Mandarin interpreting for a deposition and legal prep project, allowing all parties to participate effectively and confidently.

Corporate & Workplace Inclusion

From leadership events to internal trainings, our corporate clients leaned on us for high-volume, high-impact language support this month. We delivered over 81 hours of ASL interpreting for a national design and architecture conference, helping make the event accessible to Deaf professionals and attendees. Another major retailer engaged us for 76 hours of ASL, while a luxury automotive brand requested 61 hours, reinforcing the growing emphasis on inclusion in live and hybrid settings.

Business organizations and thought leadership events required over 55 hours of ASL, while a motivational event series saw 46 hours delivered across multiple sessions. We also supported high-profile nonprofit campaigns and client presentations with 25 hours of ASL interpreting, helping these events reach their full audience in real time.

Additionally, one marketing and media agency requested 20 hours of interpreting in Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, and Cantonese, while a tech company partnered with us for 82 hours of VRI Spanish interpreting to facilitate remote team collaboration. We also delivered 16 hours of Japanese interpreting with equipment for a client-facing product demonstration, ensuring clarity and confidence across language barriers.

Giving Thanks for Language: A November Reflection

November is a time of gratitude—and at AML-Global, we’re thankful for the work we do, the communities we serve, and the power of language to bring people together. Just as Thanksgiving is a moment to gather, share stories, and express appreciation, language is the tool that allows those moments to happen across cultures and borders.

Language services are the unseen thread in so many November moments. They appear when a teacher explains a child’s progress to a parent in their native language. When a patient receives life-saving instructions in a tongue they understand. When a conference speaker is heard and understood by everyone in the room—no matter the language they speak.

This season reminds us that inclusion isn’t about grand gestures—it’s about making space for everyone at the table. And that starts with being heard.

At AML-Global, we’re proud to do that work every day. And as we head into the end of the year, we carry that spirit of connection forward—one voice, one word, one conversation at a time.
