Interesting Interpreting & Translation Projects Completed in December
We recently completed an interpreting project for Segid SA; a company in France who recruits and hires out industrial cleaners. The project was a 3-day conference held in San Francisco, and required French interpreters, as well as equipment including sound reduction booths, portable headsets and receivers and on-site technicians. With brilliant interpreters and the right team in place, this job was a success.
Among the many translation projects completed this month, we finalized a project for Dynex Technologies; a manufacturer of products to meet the changing laboratory needs such as workstations, instruments and accessories. The document was an inserter manual for an important piece of technology and had to be translated from English into Spanish, French, German, Czech, Russian and Japanese. Our amazing translators were able to turn this around quickly, and the job went well.
Exciting Transcription and Sub-Titling Projects
At the start of December, we completed 2 transcription projects for Spot Welders. The first project consisted of transcribing and subtitling a 4 hour footage file from Brazilian-European audio into English text. This was turned around quickly and flawlessly on an expedited basis. The second project involved subtitling and transcribing from Italian audio into English text for a 3 and a half hour premiere file. Also, the client requested subtitling from Sicilian to English. American Language Services were able to transcribe and subtitle both documents very quickly and accurately.
