January 2026 Highlights: Advancing Multilingual Access Across Sectors

January marked a strong start to 2026 for AML-Global as we supported organizations across business, legal, healthcare, government, consulting, and education sectors through a combination of translation and interpreting services. From high-volume multilingual content to real-time language access via phone, video remote interpreting (VRI), and on-site ASL support, our work this month reinforced how essential language services are to accessibility, compliance, and day-to-day operations.

Business: Supporting Operations, Workforce Communication, and Accessibility

In the business sector, we partnered with organizations operating across logistics, manufacturing, staffing, retail, hospitality, and technology-driven environments. These organizations relied on both written translation and live interpreting to support internal teams, customer interactions, and accessibility needs. Throughout January, we translated more than 66,000 words across Spanish, Japanese, Hindi, Swedish, Korean, and Portuguese, while also providing phone interpreting, VRI, and on-site ASL services in Spanish, Korean, Vietnamese, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, Turkish, and American Sign Language. Mileage, travel time, and parking coordination ensured interpreters could support meetings, trainings, and workplace interactions effectively, helping businesses maintain continuity and inclusive communication.

Legal: Ensuring Precision in Proceedings, Depositions, and Client Communication

The legal sector continued to require highly precise language services to support litigation, depositions, court proceedings, and client consultations. In January, we delivered over 115,000 words of legal translation, including Chinese, French, Vietnamese, Hindi, and Spanish, often optimized through repetition and fuzzy match discounts to ensure consistency across evolving case materials. Alongside translation, we provided extensive phone, VRI, and on-site interpreting services in Spanish, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Punjabi, Farsi, Tigrinya, Nepali, Russian, Georgian, Japanese, Polish, Fulani, and Portuguese. These services supported attorneys, courts, and legal aid organizations in time-sensitive environments where clarity and accuracy directly impact outcomes.

Healthcare: Expanding Patient Access and Clinical Communication

In healthcare, multilingual access remained critical for patient care, clinical trials, behavioral health services, dental and medical practices, and specialty clinics. We translated over 45,000 words into Spanish, Tagalog, Arabic, Haitian Creole, Hmong, Dari, Pashto, and Swedish, ensuring patients and research participants could clearly understand medical information. Complementing these efforts, we provided phone interpreting, VRI, and ASL services across Spanish, Haitian Creole, French, Mandarin, Tagalog, Somali, Arabic, Korean, and American Sign Language. These services supported appointments, consent discussions, and ongoing care, reinforcing equity, compliance, and patient confidence.

Government: Strengthening Public Access and Civic Engagement

Within the government sector, we supported municipal agencies, courts, and public institutions focused on serving linguistically diverse communities. This included 5,740 words translated from English into Spanish for public-facing materials, as well as interpreting services delivered via phone, VRI, and on-site ASL. Languages supported included Spanish, Mandarin, Fuzhounese, Punjabi, Georgian, and American Sign Language. These services helped ensure transparency, accessibility, and meaningful participation in civic and judicial processes.

Consulting: Supporting Multilingual Advisory and Policy Work

In the consulting sector, we worked with advisory firms engaged in strategic communications, public initiatives, and stakeholder engagement. Nearly 9,000 words were translated from English into Spanish and Vietnamese, supported by repetition discounts for efficiency. In addition, VRI and phone interpreting services in Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean, and French enabled consultants to communicate effectively with multilingual audiences during meetings, briefings, and outreach efforts.

Education: Expanding Access to Learning and Community Services

Educational institutions and school districts continued to rely on both translation and interpreting to support students, families, and faculty. In January, we translated academic and informational materials into Dari, while also providing on-site, VRI, and ASL interpreting services in Spanish, Arabic, Hindi, Japanese, Mandarin, and American Sign Language. These services supported parent meetings, special education needs, classroom accessibility, and community engagement, reinforcing inclusive learning environments.

Looking Ahead

January demonstrated how integrated translation and interpreting services strengthen communication across every sector—from legal proceedings and healthcare delivery to education, business operations, and public services. Whether through high-volume document translation or real-time language access via phone, VRI, and ASL, each project highlighted the essential role language plays in fostering accessibility, compliance, and trust.
