New Year Resolutions

Happy New Year everyone! ‘New Year, New Me’ is the most common phrase you hear when the New Year starts. People make New Year’s resolutions and vow to change, go to the gym, stop doing something, start doing something, etc. In reality most of these resolutions are broken within the first 2 weeks of the month, yet is a continuous cycle every year make a resolution, break it, do the same year and year again. Of course, this is not the case for everyone in the World but is an extremely common pattern.

Interesting Interpreting & Translation Projects Completed in January

We recently completed an interesting interpreting project for Starkey Hearing Technologies; a company who develops and manufactures hearing aids. The project was a conference lasting 3 days in a Las Vegas hotel. 6 different languages were needed for interpretation; Mandarin, Spanish, French, Korean, Japanese and German as well as a full array of equipment including sound reduction booths, portable headsets and receivers and on-site technicians. The conference was a huge success.

At the beginning of January, for Scruples Professional Salon Products, Inc. AML-Global were able to translate numerous documents from English into Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean. We were able to turn this around quickly and accurately, the project went very well.

Another interesting translation project was for the State Bar of California. For the State bar we were able to provide translations of several legal important documents. These documents had to be translated from English into Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Khmer and Korean as well as from Simplified and Traditional Chinese into English. All translations were perfect and ensured the project success. Throughout the many years of the State Bar of California being a client, we have translated documents from English into Spanish, French, Japanese, Armenian, Punjabi, Gujarati, Russian, Vietnamese and Arabic and vice-versa.
